Complete Blood Count With Differential

A CBC with Differential is a blood test that measures red and white blood cells, hemoglobin, hematocrit, and platelets, helping diagnose infections, anemia, immune disorders, and blood cancers by analyzing different white blood cell types.

Thyroid Peroxidase Antibody

The TPOAb test detects antibodies against thyroid peroxidase, an enzyme vital for thyroid hormone production. Elevated levels suggest autoimmune thyroid disorders like Hashimoto’s or Graves’ disease, helping diagnose and monitor thyroid dysfunction.

Cholesterol And Triglyceride Levels

This blood test measures total cholesterol, LDL, HDL, and triglycerides to assess heart disease risk and monitor lipid levels for cardiovascular health management.

Glucose Levels

Measures the amount of glucose (sugar) in your blood to screen for or monitor diabetes, hypoglycemia, and other metabolic conditions. Often part of routine health checks or metabolic panels.

Protein In The Urine

This test measures protein levels in urine to detect kidney dysfunction. Elevated protein (proteinuria) may indicate kidney disease, diabetes complications, or other health issues.

Liver Function Tests

Liver Function Tests are blood tests that measure enzymes, proteins, and bilirubin to assess liver health, detect damage, and monitor conditions like hepatitis, cirrhosis, or medication effects. Elevated or reduced levels may indicate liver dysfunction.

EKG (Electrocardiogram)

An EKG records the heart’s electrical activity to assess rhythm, rate, and detect abnormalities like arrhythmias or heart attacks. Electrodes placed on the body capture signals for diagnostic evaluation.

Anemia Screening

Anemia screening involves blood tests like complete blood count (CBC), reticulocyte count, and iron studies to detect low hemoglobin or red blood cell levels, helping identify types and causes of anemia such as iron deficiency, chronic disease, or vitamin deficiencies.

Vitamin D

Vitamin D testing measures the level of 25-hydroxyvitamin D in the blood to assess bone health and overall wellness. Adequate vitamin D supports calcium absorption, immune function, and muscle strength. Testing helps detect deficiencies or excess levels, guiding dietary adjustments or supplementation to prevent osteoporosis and related health issues.

Vitamin B12

Vitamin B12 testing measures the level of vitamin B12 in the blood to assess nutritional status and diagnose deficiencies. Low levels can lead to anemia, fatigue, and neurological issues. This test helps guide treatment, monitor absorption disorders, and ensure adequate vitamin intake for overall health and energy maintenance.

Hearing Tests

Hearing tests evaluate an individual’s ability to perceive sounds across various frequencies and volumes, helping detect hearing loss, ear disorders, or auditory processing issues. Common methods include audiometry and tympanometry.

Vision Tests

Vision tests assess visual acuity, depth perception, color vision, and peripheral vision to detect impairments or eye conditions. Commonly used for routine screenings, occupational health evaluations, and determining fitness for specific job roles.

HIV Testing

HIV testing detects the presence of the human immunodeficiency virus, which weakens the immune system. It is essential for early diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of transmission. Tests include rapid, antibody, and PCR methods. Regular screening helps manage health, reduce complications, and protect partners through timely medical intervention and counseling.

HIV 1/2 Supplemental Assay

The HIV 1/2 Supplemental Assay is a confirmatory test used after an initial reactive HIV screening. It differentiates between HIV-1 and HIV-2 antibodies, ensuring accurate diagnosis. This assay helps confirm infection status, guide treatment decisions, and prevent transmission through timely medical intervention and counseling for individuals at risk or newly diagnosed.

Lead Testing

Lead testing measures the amount of lead in the blood to detect exposure or poisoning. It helps identify health risks, especially in children, who are more vulnerable to lead’s harmful effects. Early detection is crucial to prevent serious complications, including developmental delays, neurological damage, and other long-term health issues.

STD Testing

STD testing detects sexually transmitted infections such as chlamydia, gonorrhea, HIV, and syphilis. Testing is essential for sexually active individuals, especially those with multiple partners. Many STDs show no symptoms, making routine screening vital for early detection, treatment, and preventing complications or transmission to others, including unborn children.
